Where are you located?

This is a home-based bakery & cake shop located in Fort Washington, Maryland (near the National Harbor). The full address will be provided on your invoice.

What are your hours for pick-ups?

Our normal hours are:

M-F 9am – 6pm

Sat. 9am – 2pm

Sun. Closed

How far in advance should I place my order for my cake(s) or treats?

You should always try to place your order as far in advance as possible. However, some creations require specific planning and must be ordered well in advance. Here are some basic guidelines:

Pound Cakes - 7 days 

Decorated Non-tiered Cakes - 14 days

2-Tiered Cakes - 21 days 

Wedding Cakes (regardless of the number of tiers) - Minimum of 2 months. In order to make certain that we have all of the materials for your cake we would prefer that you order 3-4 months ahead. This gives us time to order materials, if needed.

If you have a last-minute order, please give us a call. We will do our best to fulfill your request. Rush fees may apply.

Can I make changes to my order after it’s been placed?

Standard Layered Cakes, Pound Cakes and Cupcakes- Changes are accepted a minimum of 4 days’ notice prior to pick up. A credit will be issued for orders cancelled with 4 business days’ notice. Your credit expires one year from the date of issue.

Custom Cakes – Because of the extra planning, preparation time to create your custom cake or treats and ingredients that must be ordered, we cannot accept any changes or offer any refunds or store credits. We appreciate your understanding.

Do you offer cake testing?

Yes, please call us for pricing and to set up an in-person cake tasting or a pick up cake tasting box. This ONLY applies to wedding cake orders.

How do I place my custom cake/treats order?

Please use the “Contact Us” button to submit your detailed information. Once we have reviewed your request, we will call to discuss in detail before providing you with a written quote. If you would like to discuss your order before completing the form, give us a call at (301) 893-4788. 

Do you offer delivery services?

Delivery is offered within a 20-mile radius of Ft. Washington, Maryland. However, we offer to travel farther distances for the delivery of large cakes (i.e., weddings). Delivery fees apply.

What are your delivery fees?

Delivery services are available only for tiered cakes and orders over $250. 

We assess a flat fee of $25, plus $2.25 per mile (one-way). Round trip fees are not assessed. 

Example: $25 (flat rate) + 6 miles at $2.25 = $38.50

What is a set-up fee? What is your set-up fee?

A set-up fee applies if you require us to deliver your order and arranging your desserts on the table. It might also include decorating the dessert table. 

Set-up fees will vary depending on decorations, dessert table size, the amount of desserts to be arranged, etc.
